Most Common Questions

These are the most asked questions that I receive. Click on each category for more FAQ.

WAXING

  • Can I get waxed while I'm on my cycle? Yes, you may be more sensitive to pain during this time, but as long as you come clean and wear a tampon, you should be good.

  • I'm pregnant, will waxing harm my baby? No, waxing is performed on the pubic area, it won't affect your uterus. Waxing won't induce labor, even if you schedule your wax on your due date. Yes, you can get waxed in the days leading up to your delivery. You can start your waxing regimen again you've waited the 4-6 weeks or until you've fully healed from any tears or episiotomy procedures.

SUGARING

  •  Is sugaring better than waxing? That depends on the person, some people prefer waxing and other prefer sugaring. If it's your first time getting hair removed, I always start people with a wax service first and then you can choose which method you'd prefer after your second treatment. Once you choose which method is best for you, it's better to stick with that method.

LASHES AND TINTS

  • Will I go blind if the lash tint gets into my eyes? No, it may sting, but you won't go blind. The tints and dyes used are vegetable based and are safe for the eyes.

LASH EXTENSIONS

  • Are lash extensions permanent? No, the lash hairs, just like the rest of our body and head hair, sheds. There is a lash shed season that occurs in the spring and fall that lasts about 6 weeks. This means that your natural lashes will shed quicker than they regularly do.

TEETH WHITENING & TOOTH GEMS

  • Do I still need to have a dentist? Yes, because I'm not a dental professional. The products used are a bit stronger than what you'd find over the counter, and a dentist who can assess the your overall oral health, has stronger whitening products.

MICRONEEDLING

  • Microneedling is needles going into a face, doesn't that hurt? No, it's not that bad. It feels like a mild sun or wind burn. It should never be painful, and you shouldn't bleed profusely. If you're sensitive to pain, you can request to use numbing cream.

BODY CONTOURING

  • Will body contouring fix all my weight problems? No, you have to treat it like an addition to your workout plan. You need to eat right and drink plenty of water for you to reap the most rewards of adding this treatment to your weight loss regimen.

EPILFREE

Can I add epilfree to my service? Yes, if you want laser hair removal-like results from waxing or sugaring, you can add this service as an addition to any of your hair removal services or schedule it as a stand-alone service. â€‹
